Evelyn's Place rescue was initially founded by Teresa Reynolds when she observed the need of a rescue to help place pets surrendered by their elderly owners. Not many families consider what may happen to an elderly family members pets if they outlive their owners or if their owners needs to move away from home. Too many families disregard these pets and consider them to be a burden. Teresa stepped up and founded Evelyn's Place. The rescue is named after her mother. Since then Evelyn's Place has blossomed into a wonderful rescue that has helped many pets find new homes. The rescue not only takes surrendered pets, but also rescues animals from abusive or neglectful situations. Below are just a few of the many success cases.
